I used to have a process where we transformed and emailed spool files automatically. Put them in an outq with an attached data queue and have a NEP running to process them. Or, since it's monthly, just move them and call the program to read/process the data queue entries. Files need to be in a *RDY status.

Subject: Automate spool download using ACS
We have a monthly task where we need to download about 20 spool files to individual text documents. Really easy with ACS, except it's manual. We know the user, and spool queue and of course the date we need.
I could email an archive file from the system if I can get them all into the archive. Various topics surrounding this topic have gone on in the list , but not one that actually hits his use case (Sorry Brad I know you can do this but they won't pop for the small amount each year)
Thoughts on the process?
