I had already tried CPYFRMARCF before posting. LOL.

I can see a GZIP save file in QMGTOOLS. It contains the streamfiles "gzip" and "gunzip" from /QOpenSys/usr/bin.
Wonder if I could use these?

FWIW - Amazon SP-API (Selling Partner API) support seems baffled that the response is compressed. This process is odd. Basically, I'm uploading a data file containing inventory "feed" to AWS. I then invoking a process that "reads" the file and updates our inventory levels. This updates stock availability for every item each time the process is executed.
I originally created this for the previous version of the API (MWS API) for POST_INVENTORY_AVAILABILITY "feed", which used an XML payload. This feed is being sunset and replaced by JSON_LISTINGS_FEED.

Silly me - I thought it would be as simple as changing the payload to JSON.

Friday, I shifted gears to try a different approach (not using a "Feed")
1. Request a list of Items/SKUs on Amazon with current inventory levels
2. Compare the inventory availability to our backend system
3. Update (one at a time) those items where the inventory is different

This approach seems a bit less efficient, but avoids the compressed responses.
