Force quit just smiles and ignores me. I once gave it an hour. I’m going to try and
Get another copy of Semaru Java and see if that settles it down.

You've had to reboot your Mac over Java lockups ?

I've been lucky. No lockups at all for ACS.

And if there is an app lockup for any app I just use "Force Quit"

?Vern, in my experience, when ACS locks up where no window responds, there's no recovery other than to either let it eventually crash itself or go into Task manager and kill it there.

I currently have open a 5250 window, Printer Output window, RSS, IFS. Task manager shows:
. Launch of IBM I Access Client Solutions (32 bit) .. Console Window
Host .. Launch of IBM I Access Client Solutions (32 bit)

I presume this indicates that one iteration of Java is running the whole ACS shebang.
