Qualified (QUAL) parameters in commands are prompted in top-down order with F4 and are bottom-up when entered on a command line - as you describe it, Stefan - same as file/library. In the source for commands, QUAL entries are listed top-down, as well.

Looking at the documentation IBM has
Qualifier 1: Job name
Qualifier 2: User
Qualifier 3: Number
But in practice it appears the Job Number is needed first and the job name is last.
Am I misunderstanding something or is the documentation wrong?
Eventually, the documentation refers to the prompted command, in which the 1st qualifier is the job name.

When returned from prompting and looking at the commandline the parameters are reversed - just like they normally will be on a prompt for file/library in a cmd.

Best regards

Stefan
