Yeah, this pretty much forces use of RDi or VS Code IBM i extension for DSPF and PRTF. Or use SEU to code them manually - I am comfortable with RDi for DSPFs - actually I like it pretty well. PRTFs, well, it's OK but a bit of a learning hurdle for me. The one thing is menus using SDA - a recent thread here discussed that, and there are ways, if you know what the component objects are and how they interrelate. Still, not a good time for that.

I haven't looked so don't know what support VS Code extension has for DSPFs - nor PRTFs, I suspect the latter has less focus than other items, but I don't know.

They're literally removing SDA? Wow.... how will people support legacy
apps? I can't imagine doing it without SDA.

I think you've gawt it, good sah!

I just checked the Memo to Users - it has this -

Support for selected Application Development ToolSet tools and
their associated commands is being
removed. These commands and menu driven screen interfaces have
been removed in IBM i 7.6:

The list includes RLU and SDA.

And this -

Source Entry Utility (SEU) and Programming Development Manager
(PDM) along with the Interactive
Source Debugger (ISDB) are the only functions that remain fully
supported in IBM Rational Development
Studio for i (5770-WDS) option 21 (Application Development ToolSet).

Scott Forstie mentioned that he had lobbied for DFU to stay - it is
still there, though no longer supported.

A couple items remain, CMPPFM and MRGSRC, but options removed from PDM -
I think that is 54 and 55. I really liked and used MRGSRC - fantastic in
that it could do a 3-part merge, compare member 1 to member 2 and select
form the latter into member 3. One can always make a user-option, I
suppose. I believe Mark W., on these lists, submitted the original
request to add these in those back-when days.

According to Liam Allen SDA & RLU will be on 7.6 but not supported.

Anyone care to elaborate?

TIA
