You'll need to set a JVM envvar before starting the JVM:
-Xmx00000M;
Where the zeroes represent the memory in MB.

The envvar is QIBM_RPG_JAVA_PROPERTIES.

Is it possible to increase the heap space when running POI? I'd like to
increase it just for this job, if possible. The program uses
ss_begin_object_group with a parameter value of 3,000,000 when it
starts to create the spreadsheet.

No matter how much this parameter value increases, I still get the crash
at the approximate same row.

We're running POI 3.12

Any ideas?
