One reason why I always check qmgtools for updates twice.
There was one release that was buggy to the point of system disruption.
But you had to upgrade to that version (or uninstall/reinstall) before
upgrading past that version. So I upgraded and immediately did another
check for updates.
On all LPARs.
I always follow that practice.

Now, there are some functions that people really like in qmgtools almost to
the user level. I forget what it was (they were) but I wasn't a big fan of
that as I have to update that so often I'd hate to have it locked while I
was trying to get a critical update installed.
