Subject: Re: Hobbyist looking for Model 170/270/800

Dang, I dismantled my 170 a few years back (it was stuck on V5R4 I think).

Now I have a power 8 (41A) on V7R4 that is collecting dust, but shipping it
would be insane. It weighs something like 300lbs.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. I wish it could mine bitcoin
lol. Then again, I don't care about crypto.

Hi everyone,

I'm a student in Calgary looking for a retired AS/400 for a home lab
(ideally a Model 170, 270, or 800 so it runs on standard wall power).

Does anyone have a dust-collector they'd be willing to sell? I'm hoping to
find one where the QSECOFR password is known, since I don't have the gear
to reset a locked machine.

Happy to cover all shipping costs.

Thanks,
Brett
