Interesting.

I thought maybe it was my internet speed, but recently upgraded that to
"fast enough"... (from DLS).

I bet the issue could be that I am on a cloud partition with not much
CPU... But saving a file seems to take about 15 seconds or more. A
compile with errors takes about the same time to finally get the error
count/list/info back.

Oh well. I'm sure the CPU is the bottleneck.
