Re: Kerberos and SYSREQ 1

People work how they like to work.
I know I can start multiple sessions but sometimes it's not worth the
overhead of starting a new session to check something quickly, for example,
can this test profile I just created actually sign on.
Just accept that sometimes people find things convenient to them that you
might not agree with. Muscle memory can have a ot to do with it.

I have noticed that SYSREQ 1 brings up a signon screen and does not
use Kerberos. Since the user doesn't have a password, they can't log
into this screen and their only option would be to close the session
and lose anything on the first session. We don't know if anybody is
currently doing this and trying to explain it to a user would be a
pain because they probably don't know that they are doing a SYSREQ 1.
Many users just do keystrokes that they were shown and don't know the
details behind them.



Is there something I am overlooking that would resolve this problem
other than telling them "Don't do that" and hoping they remember? I
know that it would only take one or two times for SOME users to
remember. It is the rest of them that I am concerned about and
cleaning up the data and locks from abandoned sessions.
