Most of my customers have firewall rules in place restricting FTP and such. Yep all good.
I send the lates IBM documentation to them about what URLs/Addresses to open up so we can download PTFs etc. Again all good. (From a document dated late last year 2025 so recent)
So I go to download PTFs thinking all should be good and where does the FTP get redirected to:
http://delivery01-bld.southdata.ibm.com
What the F is southdata.ibm.com. Never heard of that before and of course it’s not on the list that was provided so firewall says nope, not gonna do it.
IBM what’s going on?
