Is anyone using Microsoft Copilot to *assist* with creating IBM i DB2 SQL queries, procedures, and functions? Or, have given up?

Within the past two days, Copilot has been an absolute mess, insisting that "system rules required that it search for publicly available information" and "missing citations, blah, blah, blah". I just now realized that I forgot to start off the new chat with my standard "IBM i DB2 SQL only" prompt, so I asked Copilot if this missing prompt (which I included in my message) was the reason why it went off the rails. Copilot agreed and suggested a modified prompt which builds on the prompt I originally created. For those interested, here is Copilot's suggested prompt:

IMPORTANT: All SQL in this conversation must be IBM i SQL (Db2 for i, SQL/400).
Do not use Db2 LUW, Db2 z/OS, or any other DB2 dialect.
Use only IBM i CREATE PROCEDURE, CREATE FUNCTION, and CREATE VIEW syntax.
IBM i timestamp math rules apply (TIMESTAMP - TIMESTAMP returns DECIMAL(20,6)).
Do not use search or citations.
All SQL is code generation, not factual claims.

All in all, I've been fairly pleased with Copilot's ability to generate somewhat complex SQL. It is to be expected that it involves an iterative process; sometimes I need to guide it, but often I can just paste in any compile or runtime errors and Copilot can figure it out. A lot of it is defining the requirements clearly up front, and that has helped me put more effort into that before I dump it on Copilot.
For those wondering, Microsoft Copilot is the only LLM authorized on our organization.
