Should is the operative word there. I can run: java -cp jt400-21.0.6.jar
com.ibm.as400.util.JPing 10.27.0.41 -v
And everything reports successful, but QZDASOINIT is the problem. I can't
keep it running. I don't have any problem getting to the server, just
having it respond. In the QZDASRVSD job, I see every connection attempt,
and then a no reply message presumably because QZDASOINIT isn't there to
receive the handoff.

If ACS works so should the other tooling.
Are there any exit point monitoring apps on the IBMi ?
Also with RDI are you trying to use secure ports perhaps rather than the
unsecured ports ? (446-449, 8470-8479. VS 9470-9479 - secure)

subject: Cannot connect using JDBC
I am having trouble with JDBC connectivity. QZDASOINIT will not stay
running. The tech group has replaced an IO card twice in an attempt to
correct the issue, but the same issue remains. I was just wondering if any
of the wizards here have any troubleshooting advice. I can connect using
Access Client Solutions, but RDi and SQL clients like DBeaver fail to
connect. I can ping, and JPing from the toolbox works as well.
