This month I upgraded 10 LPARs from 7.5 to 7.6 in the span of a week.
You're doing the right thing by upgrading instead of waiting years down the
road when everyone forgot their pain points. Makes it easier for us to
answer your question while the wounds are fresh.
I believe you have a preference for pdf over the other format currently
offered so you should review the following:

One of the big things is many APIs and stuff to retrieve system information
require additional authority.
For example, if they are changing stuff they may need *IOSYSCFG. If they
are only retrieving that info then they can use the 7.6 only WRKFCNUSG
QIBM_IOSYSCFG_VIEW
May I suggest you ensure security audit is enabled, and, clean it up prior
to upgrading to 7.6?

That *AUTFAIL is kind of a big thing.
You can trap that for people trying stuff not allowed at 7.6. But at 7.6
you will have to look at that, and a related entry.

Get this clean. In iACS Run SQL Scripts, click on Edit, Examples, Insert
from Examples. For a category pick IBM i Services. Underneath Journal
