In my opinion IBM Security is vastly superior to that of other computer
vendors, of which Microsoft is the worst, but according to implications of an
article in USA Today, IBM is no different from Microsoft. I am referring to
an article page 7B of Wed Feb 27 by Byron Acohido titled "Agency raises the
bar on tech security" subtitled "non-profit works to plug holes for free"
primarily about The Center for Internet Security. The first paragraph of the
sub-section "Attacks rising" says, and I quote

"The security situation is dire. Microsoft, IBM, Sun Microsystsms, and other
software makers have left their operating systems vulnerable while pumping
out feature-rich systems ... "

unquote

Now I had thought Sun & IBM were primarily in something other than the
software making business, but this allegation is lumping IBM with equality of
security risk with companies like Microsoft, whose security, in my opinion,
do not hold a candle to IBM's. IBM's friends need to get this article to IBM
so that a letter to editor or something can try to repair this image problem.
