Fascinating article in Wired about current US military & recent space wars. I Gulf War won thanks to hastily deployed satelites to support US air power II Yugoslav army did some decent spoofing, but their expected followup never came III started 9/11 The transformation of US military in recent history, and indications that the transformation will continue. Links at end of article indicate that there may be some other articles here worth a review. Second article is typical NSDMG trade off analysis of alternative budgeting, but how about reading it in the light of what is going on in the Middle East ... which of these activities are doable by the new breed of terrorists?
