(copied) OFF-SHORING TO INDIA BACKFIRES Following a deluge of customer complaints, Dell Computers has rescinded the routing of corporate calls to its customer service center in India. Not surprisingly, customers were outraged that "operators [were] difficult to communicate with because of thick accents and scripted responses," according to a NewsMax report. Dell is just one of many hi-tech companies that have been off-shoring jobs to India, presumably to cut costs. Sadly, though, despite this recent backlash against Dell, the company does not plan to scale-back any of its other Bangladore, India operations. Dell employs about 44,000 employees -- over 54% of which are foreigners overseas! My Summary; ..."dude, you're getting a Dell....better hope it does not break dude"
