To paraphrase Ron Kuby (the famous liberal lawyer) from what he said
yesterday, celebrating diversity is not about lowering everything to the
lowest common denominator and eliminating the very things that make us diverse.
It's recognizing and celebrating that diversity by including all those things.
What the politically neo-correct teams are doing today is to remove Merry
Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanza, etc and using Happy Holidays. We
don't light Christmas trees, we light holiday trees.
That's not celebrating diversity, that's covering it up with one blanket
phrase. Why not just go straight to Happy Winter?

Merry Season.
