Check out the January issue of Consumer Reports. They recommend phones
based on different criteria such as e-mail, multimedia, office tasks, etc.
I'm on Verizon and have a LG flip-phone that's hit the concrete more than
a few times and is falling apart.
I've loved my PalmPilot for years and its calendar feature is the most
important to me so I've been leaning toward the Palm phones. Carrying a
PDA, cell phone, and an iPod is a bit much. I like flip phones so a phone
that is wider and shorter may take some getting used to. Keyocera used to
make a flip phone with the Palm OS but I don't think that they do anymore.
I REALLY don't like a Windows interface on a phone. I've tried the
iPhone. The touch screen is great for web browsing but I rarely do that
on a phone.
