Gary: "Hey Bill, a snake just crawled under the (data center)
door and went under your desk".
Bill (I.T.): "Yeah, right, real funny."
Gary: "I'm serious. It's next to your UPS".
Bill: [finally looks. Jumps up and away]

It was a copperhead snake about 12 inches long. Our maintenance guy
pinned the snake head to the floor and grabbed him right behind the
head. Happened in Tulsa, Oklahoma
