Would that still be necessary? Are we really saying that manual install steps are still required to get node.js to work even with the latest version of 5733OPS?

My OP issue is still not resolved by the way, so 5733SC1 is going to be reinstalled as a first step.

I'm finding a lot more I-rarely-do-IBM-i-sys-admin people are getting into IBM i sys admin because of 5733OPS. That means the above statement needs a lot of handholding. The following tutorial from the ClubSeiden folks is what I point people at:

I'd change that to read: "You will have obscure issues if you don't install all the options". I don't recall the exact scenario, but JesseG helped me out of it by having me install all of the options even if I didn't populate them with a PTF.
