I don't think the issue Richard speaks of is related to IBM i security. He brought this up in the context of a generic *.PGM redirect setting in the Apache config - that this allows calling anything in the library that is being redirected to.

This just seems like a risky practice, and, yes, one can lock things up so only the desired program can be called this way - that adds to security setup maintenance, possibly.

But you pays your money, you makes your choice, right?
