Every user should have their own .bash_profile and .bashrc ... no need to
mess with the system path.

export PATH=/QOpenSys/pkgs/bin:/usr/bin/:/usr/sbin .... or whatever. Maybe
you have a /home/MYLOGIN/bin dir with your own scripts and programs .. add
that.
