[IBMiOSS] Open Source Environment Installation taking a long time (or hanging)

This is a duplicate of Brad Stone's old post here:

I'm trying to run Open Source Package Management from ACS.
It started installing the Open Source Environment and I have a Progress Bar
for Sending Open Source Environment that has been sitting at 28 percent for
over half an hour now.

Another Window popped up with a Title of Installing... and now there is
text in that window of: Bootstrap succeeded.
(Well it actually has text of "aBootstrap succeeded" but I'm not sure if
the "a" came from me typing as the Window appeared.

I cannot locate any hidden "Details" window.

I'm not sure if I should:
a) Keep waiting
b) Close the "Bootstrap succeeded" window or
c) Hit Cancel on the "Installing Open Source Environment" Window.

It seems that at least one other person has had the exact same issue (Brad)
but the original post I linked didn't describe the resolution.

Has anyone else come across this?
