Really.  My Linksys router blocks all incoming requests so my Norton
Internet Security never report any connection attempts.  Did you activate
your DMZ and put your PC in that port when you re-configured?  Which model
of the Linksys router do you have?  I am running the Firewall router with 2
vpn end points.  Also get the latest firmware upgrade from Linksys and
change you admin password.  One thing about the Cable is you get a static IP
usually while DSL is PPPoE dial up which give you a new DHCP IP on the wan
port.

I have a Linksys router also and recently had to switch to cable modem from
DSL due to a recent move.  I also run the Zone Alarm.  Since the switch I
have been noticing the Zone Alarm messages about denying some kind of TCP
request (not sure the exact message right now) that I did not experience
with the DSL line.  

The question that I have is:  
Could this be someone hacking into my router and then trying to get to my
PC's that are connected to it?
