According to my 800 page (anti) hacking manual "no admin worth squat would allow port 135" and goes on to note programs to check for and kill port 135 use. And yet a MAJOR company here in Indianapolis had 1200 SERVERS knocked down because they "make MAJOR use of port 135 for all kinds of stuff around here" per a friend who handles the LPAR AS/400's there...
