The choking is when it tries to load the Macromedia Flash. 
It must be something with their site and your Java installation. I have a
local site that does the same thing to mine. (I have to uninstall flash and
reinstall it to see the site).
Wish I had another guess.

  I tried that.  Then things seemed to get a little worse.  Instead of just 
choking up, it would clear the page and choke, seemingly sooner!  So I 
downloaded the latest Flash plug-in and I'm back to the old style 
problem.  Any other suggestions?  Thanks.
