Bob,

I saw this when we did the same thing. I'm sure there's a way to fix it, but
I too the sledgehammer approach. I reinitialized the offline folders cache.
Goto Tools|Folder Options|Offline Files. Now hold down Ctrl and Shift and
click 'Delete Files'. You'll get a warning message, READ IT!

If you do this, you will solve your problem (at least it solved mine), but
you will have nothing marked for offline use. You'll have to mark it again.
Also, you'll have to reboot as part of the process. It's all in that warning
message.

Subject: [PcTech] Win XP Offline Files

Does anyone else utilize Windows XP's offline files? We recently
installed a new server and I have pointed my offline files to the new
server and thought I had removed any references to the old server, but
XP is constantly telling me that I am offline from the old server. That
server doesn't even exist anymore. Has anyone else experienced this?
