Hi Walden -

>Just another reason to not use Winblows.

I logged onto my iSeries as QSECOFR and did a CLRLIB on QSYS, now I can't
IPL. Just another reason not to use OS/400??? Come-on Ken, David said it
correctly, if you don't know what you're doing you can screw up a machine.
It has nothing to do with Windows.

It wasn't that, it was the fact that the browser is responsible for certificates for things that have nothing to do with browsing.

Sure, you can screw up any OS, but Winblows makes it easy.

For example, your example of CLRLIB QSYS as a way to blow up OS/400 is totally bogus:

This command cannot be used to clear the QRECOVERY, QRCYxxxxx, QSPL, QSPLnnnn, QSYS, QSYSxxxxx, QSYS2, QSYS2xxxxx, QSYSCGI, SYSIBM, or SYSIBxxxxx libraries (where 'xxxxx' is the number of a primary auxiliary storage pool (ASP) and 'nnnn' is the number of a basic user ASP.)

You can't DLTLIB QSYS either:

This command cannot be used to delete the QQALIB, QRECOVERY, QRCYxxxxx, QSPL, QSPLnnnn, QSYS, QSYSxxxxx, QSYS2, QSYS2xxxxx, QSYSCGI, QTEMP, SYSIBM, or SYSIBxxxxx libraries (where 'xxxxx' is the number of a primary auxiliary storage pool (ASP) and 'nnnn' is the number of a basic user ASP.)
