Yes, the problem is Ctrl-N is dependant on where you are. In contacts it's a
new contact, in mail it's new mail, in calendar it's a new appt, etc.

I always forget that Ctrl-Shift-M is New Mail regardless of your location so
I have to go and look. Just got in that habit.

Well now I know why the 'point & click' guys are more advanced than me.  I
use Ctrl+N for a new message and have literally never looked at the File
menu.  Off to the salt mines for me!
