Re: Blank item in startup -- PCTECH

OK, run regedit and follow the tree to

My Computer
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
        SOFTWARE
            Microsoft
                Windows
                    CurrentVersion
                        Run

Click on the Run key and look at the list int he RH panel. There should be one with no Name (that's the Startup Item) and nothing in Data (that's the Command). Or if something looks like binary cata or otherwise suspicious, consider deleting the item in the RH panel.
