Hi Paul

There are many. I'm using MailWasher Pro. Latest version has Bayesian filters and learns from your actions. And it only displays email headers and text - no chance of infection. I have it set to check for emails every30 minutes, I think. then you review what gets there, then it starts your email client. You can make it a little more automatic. Go to <www.firetrust.com> for Pro, <www.mailwasher.net> for a free version without the learning feature. Both let you bounce messages back, although that probably just clogs the 'Net.

A good Windows list, LangaList, has recommendations from time to time. Check out Fred Langa at <www.langa.com>. Archives are to be found there.

Our ISP recommends subscribing to SpamNet. They use a thing called Barracuda to handle things at their end, but things still get through. They even use SpamNet to consider what keywords to filter out.

Hi All,

Just wondering what recommendations you might have for anti spam software that runs on the PC. My ISV is stopping about 150 a day but there are still about 20 or so getting through.

TIA
