Hi Bill,

Thanks for the link. I did contact SonicGuard.com and they are
willing to sell it to me for $400.00 + CA Sales tax which brings the
total to $433.00 so even with their lowest price guarentee they are
$33.00 higher.

Is anyone using other solutions for VPN end points? With a box in
this price range I would just like to make sure I'm making the best
choice. One of my reservations is a throughput comparison that
shows wireless running at a maximum of 3.1 close up and 3.0 at
160 feet. While that speed is excellent at 160 feet since so many
others drop off to zero all the others were tested at almost double
the speed at close ranges. You can see the results of the test at:
http://www.sonicwall.com/newsroom/pdfs/PC_Mag_AccessPointPer
formance.pdf
It's at the bottom listed as SonicWall SOHO TZW
Since I am usually around 25 feet and the D-Link AirPlus Enhanced
DI-614+ is rated at 6.4 at 60 feet I was just wondering if anyone
else has had good experiences with other products. I am rarely at
160 feet to take advantage of the SonicWall although once in a
while it would come in handy.

Thanks,

Gary Kuznitz

PS: I don't work for any of the companies mentioned. I just want to
be a happy user.
