I did do Windows Update (multiple times).  I did not go digging around on
the WU site to see if they listed drivers individually.  Typically, I just
let WU auto-update  and that traditionally has been just non-driver objects
needing updates that it finds.  Even if I had tried to download specific
drivers there they wouldn't have been the correct ones.  I was still under
the impression (via faulty information) that it was a different display
adapter on the motherboard.  This might have worked had I known what it
really was.  Still, I agree with Mike that you check first with the
manufacturer.  There are times when companies go out of business and their
resources dry up.  In such cases looking to Microsoft would be a good
choice.

Problem with that is they only have certain drivers. Not all of
them... and usually the manufacturers drivers are better anyway.
Microsoft's drivers don't enable all of the features that the card may
have like dual-head (two monitors on one card) support.
