Hi Peter,
I am unaware of any limitations. It is like characters, just in a link form.
You could also do a really simple VB program for that.

Yes. 

We may have maybe 10-20 even 30 additional .doc's,  .xls, .pps. .ppt, 
.mbd, etc. per main document.  What I have in mind is to display the icon 
representing the file and the user can click on it and pull the file.
