Hi Jim -

Could anyone offer details on how you file a complaint against these guys? TIA.

IIRC, you can't file a complaint, you have to get your ISP to do it. As David said, the law is pretty much worthless.

There is a reason why the news.admin.net-abuse.email newsgroup participants call it the "You Can Spam" law.

Fortunately the law specifically does NOT put any limitations on the blocking of unwanted emails. I have my email on an in-house server and I have very aggressive blocking. See http://www.ke9nr.net/blocks/ Particularly note the number of iSeries / AS/400 vendors on the Email by Sender blocklist. Since most totally bogus spam has forged sender information, I primarily block by IP address, either in the mail software, or at the router. But for "legitimate" senders, I also block by sender.
