The laptop runs XP Pro with 512 mb RAM and is a 2.6 mghz machine. We just
pinged out with the machine in question and with several other machines
around the office. They all reached the same site in 103-104 ms. All of the
other machines are hitting in the 900+ range on the speed test site. 

I am looking into an NDIS problem on 98SE to see if that helps.

What is the config of the Laptop? Believe it or not, RAM can effect
