Eileen (small world <G>),

Are you trying to get the one machine TO prompt, or all the others NOT
TO prompt?

Subject: [PCTECH] excel qeury disable/enable prompt

I am using the iseries access ODBC driver to retrieve date into an excel
spreadsheet. I have the spreadsheet stored on a network with all query
definitions in the same folder. All computers except 1 prompt to enable
or
disable the query. I have already tried changing the registry entry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/9.0/EXCEL/OPTIONS

adding the DWORD entry QUERYSECURITY with a value of 0 and still it does
not
prompt.

The machine is running XP Pro

Any Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
