Looking at a Fujiplus 19" LCD with DVI for $199 after MIR. Comes with a
30-day no questions asked return guarantee (TigerDirect, so FWIW).

Would be my first experience with an LCD monitor, so I'm wondering what
effect one or two dead pixels has on the overall viewing experience. It
comes with a one year warranty on the LCD panel, three years on the rest of
it. "Dead Pixels Policy: Replacement for 8 or more Dead Pixels only" The
reviews TD seem to indicate a mixed bag of monitors that ship with 0, 1, or
2 dead pixels. Apparently, TD will replace these within the 30-day window.

It also seems, from the reviews, that most people are happy with this
monitor when used with a graphics card with DVI support. Is that a night &
day difference compared to the analog?

TIA,
Dan
