SunRocket actually recommends the gizmo be placed in front of the
router.

Yeah, a new router for me is probably inevitable.  I just don't want to
mess with it right now.  My current router is a Netgear and in general
it's been fine.  One thought is that the unit may be overheating since
it lacks a cooling fan.  I may try to get a fan directed on if before I
go down the replace route.

My linksys has been rock solid for a few years now.  My dad's netgear
hasn't given him much trouble either.
