live in da sticks,

Cincy Bell originally said spring 06 would have DSL now its Spring 07
earliest, cable is an option if I want to pay the $700+ to ahve it run from
nearest "neighbor" who has it to my house (straight line maybe 1/4 mile,
down his drive, down the road, up my drive is closer to 1/2 mile)

Other option is satellite (which is not much better than dialup esp on
rainy/snowy days) but up front cost for that is also around $500.

I am curious why you have to stay with dial up?
