Dan,
Don't use a batch file, use a .vbs file.
Throw what's between Start and End in a file called "whatever.vbs" and
run it:
-------Start-----
'Declare Word Object
dim oWord
'Connect to Word
set oWord = createobject("Word.Application")
oWord.visible = true
'Open this doc and print it
oWord.Documents.Open ( "d:\dev\test1.doc" )
oWord.ActiveDocument.PrintOut
oWord.ActiveDocument.Close
oWord.Documents.Open ( "d:\dev\test2.doc" )
oWord.ActiveDocument.PrintOut
oWord.ActiveDocument.Close
oWord.Documents.Open ( "d:\dev\test3.doc" )
oWord.ActiveDocument.PrintOut
oWord.ActiveDocument.Close
oWord.Documents.Open ( "d:\dev\test4.doc" )
oWord.ActiveDocument.PrintOut
oWord.ActiveDocument.Close
oWord.Quit
-------End-----
We use a generated verion of that script from a webapp of ours to
support printing a batch of documents to a browser's printer.
