Mark, have you tried the built-in Windows "Extended desktop" setting? Right-click your desktop, Properties, Settings tab, click/highlight the second screen, and check "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor." It seems to remember settings for each display I connect it to. I use it all the time so I can drive my laptop at 1900x1200 + an external monitor at 1600x1200 or a projector at 1024x768 or whatever. Nice as you can edit a PowerPoint on the laptop screen while previewing it on the other. Or watch a full-screen movie on one while checking email the other. John A. Everyone I have seen with one is saying that the widescreens make coding a lot better on the eyes / more real estate for IDE's. I am getting one from Santa too. I took a quick look at the program (online only) because when I plug in my thinkpad to an overhead from vendor XXX no matter what I seem to do, I can not show optimal on the overhead and optimal on the local thinkpad. Would be even NICER to show two different apps on the thinkpad (with toggle capability) and the 1 app on the overhead. Programs like this will probably make that happen. -- Mark Villa Summerville, SC -- This is the PC Technical Discussion for iSeries Users (PcTech) mailing list To post a message email: PcTech@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/pctech or email: PcTech-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/pctech.
