How does Mac OS X (I think that's the latest) compare with Vista? Apple
seems synonymous with user-friendly and stability. My brother-in-law made
the switch a year or two ago from the PC to the Mac. I only see him a
couple times a year so I can't play on his computers very much. My problem
with that is not being able to run the current software you've already paid
for.

I kinda like (K)ubuntu a lot.

Installed it on my laptop in a dual-boot config with WinXP.

It's the friendliest Linux I know...

Just my personal opinion of course.

David, are there some new desktop versions of Linux coming up?
I have been playing with SUSE desktop 10 GNOME and KDE.

Dunno ... I've never found desktop linux to be particularly friendly.
