Must have been digging through everything on your hard drive, cataloging it,
data mining it and send it off to the "Mother Ship" :-)

I too have noticed svchost.exe being a memory/CPU PIG at time, but here at
work with 2GB of RAM not much impact. At home, it is noticeable.
