Curious if anyone has any first hand knowledge implementing PC scanning on XP using Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) (or bypassing this API) The ActiveX I created to work with WIA works fine but it is not bulletproof. In reality (for production) I would think a package with regular updates and more function is needed to keep the solution from breaking.
