You need a bluetooth receiver on your PC. Then it should show up in your
control panel.

It is common for laptops to have Bluetooth...but I've not seen a lot of
desktops that do.

With a Treo anyway, you can use a USB cable between the Cell Phone and PC.
It is also faster than Bluetooth.

Subject: [PCTECH] Bluetoot, XP Pro, and our cell phones

We are told that we can use Bluetooth between our cell phones and our
PC. I look under Help and Support on my XP Pro and it says to go to
Control Panel and click on Bluetooth devices.

Well, dumb ole us can't find "Bluetooth" devices under control panel.
Are we missing some simple thing, yet again?
