Because it was at one time an administrator, the system will always check to
see if any processes are running as services under that profile. Any
installations that you did as an "administrator" that required administrator
rights to run services are still tagged that way, even though your profile
is no longer an administrator.

In short, so sorry, but you are stuck with it.

Subject: [PCTECH] 'Saving Your Settings' takes a long time


A while back when I log off or shutdown my home system it sits on the
'saving your setting' message for a really long time. I haven't actually
timed it but it's probably over 15 seconds. When using any of the other
ID's it fly's right through. The only difference I can see is that my ID is
an administrator. I've tried changing the account type but it didn't help.
Does anyone have any ideas what would cause this delay?
