Well, I just used the old tried and true method to get a laptop drive
working again (at least temporarily, that is...)
1) turn off computer
2) take out hard drive
3) hold drive by the edges
4) slam on flat surface several times
5) reinstall hard disk
6) Back it up as fast as possible!
This is at least the 3rd time I've used this method successfully...
