Dell Support said "sometimes" MS updates include driver changes not tested with all the Dell models. I have a Dell Precision Workstation and it did not like it.
Was definitely in the config.

Subject: [PCTECH] had my 1st crash after MS Updates

My Dell failed to come back up after installing some MS updates that
required a reboot. After several attempts, and some diag menus, I called
support. Dell Support (not bad tonight) got me to a menu to select
"Last Good Config.." and it worked.
